I guess if your a mega-star like Sylvester Stallone, you don't need your script read, in order for it to be made into a movie. After this movie, I seriously think that Sly's career is over! Sly has had three bad movies in a row, and hasn't had a good movie since Copland.

Anyway, Driven is about a hot shot driver, Jimmy Blye (Kip Pardue) who is in the middle of a championship, and is having second thoughts about racing. That's where Sly comes in, to give him guidance, and make him a champion!

Driven lacks mentality, and has characters thin as tissue paper. The movie is filled with dull and uninteresting racing sequences, surrounded by Dawson's Creek type of drama. Bad CGI effects make it even worse!

One choice scene, that is really terrible is, Stallone racing over quarters, so his tire can pick them up and stick, so Stallone can prove his racing abilities.

THINK-How can anybody find quarters, ahead of time, at great distances on a racetrack?

And with senseless acts, like a chase sequence through Chicago. And a silly Star Wars type of ending, with Stallone and Blye humming together, to feel each other out, to bring home the trophy -OOPS! Did I give the ending away?

Final thoughts- This is by far one of the worst action movies, so far this year, and is defiantly the YUGO of racing movies! Not even racing fans will like this movie!
