Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles
Directed by: Simon Wincer
Written by: Paul Hogan & Matthew Berry
Starring: Paul Hogan, Linda Kozlowski, Paul Rodriguez
Why on god's earth would Paramount Pictures greenlight this project, let alone Paul Hogan coming up with another movie. Is Paul Hogan in that dire need of rent money, are the car commercials not paying him enough?
Anyway, this time around Mick Dundee travels to Los Angeles with his wife Sue Charlton(Linda Kozlowski) and thier little son. They soon find out there is a conspiracy within a movie studio releasing a string of bad movies. I wonder why they didn't mention this one?
Basically, this movie has about as much substance as a rice cake. Paul Hogan spouts off dry humor and instead of seeing the Dundee we knew from 12 years ago, we see him strolling through the movie as if he were in a Police Academy movie. Sadly we see Hogan with Paul Rodriguez has movie extras. Finally, a part Rodriguez can nail down!
Plus there is a painful seen with Hogan and Mike Tyson. Yes, Mike Tyson. Here both of them practice yoga in the park.
In closing, this is by far one of the worst sequels I have seen in awhile. I think a more appropriate title for this would have been, Crocodile "DUNG"dee.
